music: Kristin Hersh - Day Glo
I don't know if I did, but I think I had a bit of a psychotic episode the other day at the bus station in Dundee. It was a little scary. Stupid me bought megabus tickets for this weekend coming instead of last weekend and they wouldn't let me on the bus. I must stress that I think this was the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak: Job hunting, being poor, moving house at weekends only, office politics, all every day nonsense really but I think I'm a little bit sick of unneccessary stresses, y'know, like those caused by office politics. I'm just so happy that it is going to be February on Thursday and some cash will be coming my way. But yeah, this psycho thing was a bit scary. I've never cried over a bus ticket before and it was sort of weird. Perhaps I should visit the doctor. Just stressed out I think.
Good news though, the new Kristin Hersh album is superb. I know I say they are all mostly good, but this seems like a more thourough that her previous efforts and more like the Throwing Muses circa 1995 and it's like she's stole a bit of Nirvana and PJ Harvey. Someone even thought it sounded like Pearl Jam. Fair enough. Hehe. With pay day coming up I get to look forward to the Madonna live CD/DVD and The Shins albums. I know there's much more I should probably concern myself with but I can't be bothered, however feel free to recommend because I'll be online soon and be able to DOWNLOAD!!!! Which reminds me, Gaydar is rubbish and I hadn't been on in a year, so I logged on last night to see how many messages I had - zero. There goes my self esteem. Damn.
Hope you are all grand and I'm sorry I'm so crap at contact.

"List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your live journal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to."

1. Ladyfuzz - Something About A Dog
2. Kate Bush - Sunset
3. Broken Social Scene - 7/4 (Shoreline)
4. Sonic Youth - Plastic Sun
5. Bjork - Big Time Sensuality
6. Madonna - Get Together
7. Nirvana - Serve The Servants
Due to shortages of cash, I have been indulging in a lot of old music recently. If you haven't done so in a while, I suggest you listen to Bjork's Debut. I truly forgot what an amazing and exciting album it is.
So I pretty much tag you all as I only have 7 friends :(
